In order to facilitate filtering for parents using PICS filters (such as Microsoft Internet Explorer's Content Advisor), since January 2006 ICRA has provided a simplified PICS interpretation of the current vocabulary alongside the RDF labels. The PICS label accompanies the Link tag. The following section is provided for webmasters wishing to understand more about the legacy PICS system of filtering.
