Alistair has 25 years of experience in the software industry and is a recognized expert in the subject of Internet content classification. Alistair joined RuleSpace in 2000 and led the development of the company's parental controls products. In 2005, Alistair spearheaded a management buy-out of RuleSpace and is now the president and CEO of the company.
Prior to joining RuleSpace, Alistair spent 11 years in the engineering division of Sequent Computer Systems, a computer manufacturer that was acquired by IBM. Alistair has also held various software development positions at First Interstate Bank of Oregon (now Wells Fargo), Philips in The Netherlands and Polaroid (UK) Ltd in Scotland. His background is primarily computer networking technologies. Alistair holds an HND in Computer Studies from Caledonian University, Glasgow, Scotland.
