Below we have provided links to some of them and we keep adding new ones all the time. ICRA does not have any formal relationship with the majority of organizations listed here but does recognize the important contribution they make.

	FKBKO (For Kids By Kids Online) www.fkbko.net With a little help from our cybernauts, you will soon be able to figure out which chat programs are hot and which are not. Let FKBKO show you how to become a cyber detective and trace where those junk e-mails really come from.

	Childnet www.childnet-int.org Childnet is a non-profit organization working around the world to help make the internet a great place for children. They run projects in 4 key areas of Access, Awareness, Protection and Policy. They also organize the annual Cable & Wireless Childnet Awards. See also Kids Smart below.

	Cybersmart Kids www.cybersmartkids.com.au For Kids and Young People: A young person's guide to surfing the Net, using e-mail and chatrooms, the smart way. Have fun on the Internet and explore cool sites, but remember to always be cybersmart. For Grown Ups: Parents can learn important tips on safe ways to enjoy the best of the Internet, whilst protecting children from the worst. Teachers can use the lesson plan, online teaching resources and homework tips to help kids be cybersmart. Cybersmart Kids is run by the Australian Broadcasting Authority

	Kids Smart www.kidsmart.org.uk A practical Internet safety advice website resource for schools produced by Childnet. The site focuses on 5 key SMART Safety Tips which children need to remember when they use computers - whether at school or in the home. As well as backing from ICRA members Cable & Wireless, the site enjoys endorsement from British celebrities Carol Vorderman, Ant and Dec.

	Susi: Safer Use of Services on the Internet www.besafeonline.org Advice and information about Internet safety for parents and teachers, plus opportunities to discuss problems and share solutions. This guidance is intended to make adults more aware of how to use the Internet safely, so that they can encourage safe behaviour online among children and young people.

	Zap www.zap.eun.org Origin: The Zap website for children has been launched based on a research project, called the European Collaborative Environment (EUNCLE). The project brings together European Schoolnet, the coordinator, and seven other partners from all over Europe. Safety: Any content appearing on, or linked from Zap must comply with the Appropriateness criteria, ensuring safe content for children. Sites should ideally conform also to the non-mandatory criteria.

	Net Mom www.netmom.org Net Mom's internet safe house! This site contains lots of information and links for families, as well as the chance to buy Jean Armour Polly's best selling book "Net-mom's Internet Kids & Family Yellow Pages"

	Media Awareness Network www.media-awareness.ca MNet is Canada's largest online media education resource, offering parallel Web sites in English and French. Its media education content covers all media, including the Internet. MNet's mission is to promote and support the widest possible integration of media education into schools, libraries and communities by providing comprehensive materials and tools for educators, librarians, parents and others involved in helping children become safe, wise and responsible media users.

	NetSmartz www.netsmartz.org Netsmartz.org is a fun, interactive learning environment that parents and children can share. Specific tips and suggestions are provided for using the NetSmartz online activities to teach your children how to be safer online. The 3-D, animated activities provide fun and interesting approaches to developing safe-surfing habits on the Internet. Help children of all ages learn about dangers on the Internet and how to avoid them.

	Get Net Wise www.getnetwise.org The Internet offers kids many opportunities for learning, constructive entertainment, and personal growth. At the same time, parents are concerned about the risks kids face online. The challenge for parents is to educate themselves and their children about how to use the Internet safely. GetNetWise can help.

	Surf Safely www.surfsafely.com The "Family Friendly" search engine. Only sites that are labelled with ICRA or other PICS-based rating services as having no potentially harmful or offensive content are included in this search engine.

	Kids Safe www.kidsafe.com Kid Safe is a US religious-backed service providing child safety reports, and great parenting resources about kids, teenagers, and children. It offers Free child safety reports and products that parents can use to better protect their family members and family values from drugs, sex, violence, strangers and accidents.

	Internet ABC www.internet-abc.de Das Internet-ABC ist eine neue und werbefreie Plattform für den Einstieg ins Internet. Hier finded Kinder, Eltern und Pädagogen Tipps für den sicheren und kreativen Umgang mit dem Internet. Ein Projekt der Bertelsmann Stiftung, der Landesanstalt für Rundfunk NRW und der Heinz Nixdorf Stiftung.

	Educanet www.educaunet.org Le projet Educaunet va proposer une ensemble d'outils et supports pour accompagner adultes, parents enseignants, enfants et jeunes. Pierre angulaire de ce dispositif multiple, le site Educaunet.org est désormais en pleine phase de conception expérimentale. Partenaires Media Animation, Clemi Ministère de l'éucation and Université catholique de Louvain.

	Le Forum www.foruminternet.org Structure permanente de dialogue, Le Forum organise léchange et la concertation entre les utilisateurs, les acteurs économiques et les instances publiques sur les questions de droit et de société liées aux réseaux. Le Forum est investi de trois grandes missions : la concertation entre les acteurs, l'information et la sensibilisation du public et la coopération internationale.

	DotSafe www.eun.org The .SAFE project is a pilot across the 23 member countries of the European SchoolNet (www.eun.org). There is a general commitment to the project among the partners, because it addresses real needs. They will be involved at different stages, notably information gathering and dissemination. A core set of ten contrasting countries, schools, projects and agencies is involved formally in the project.

Industry information

	Safer Internet www.saferinternet.org This is the news site for the European Union's Internet Action Plan in which ICRA is a participant. Available in all major European languages, it's an excellent first stop for finding out what is being done across Europe and elsewhere to improve internet safety.

	Adult Sites Against Child Pornography www.asacp.com ASACP is the organization that helps the adult site industry make a difference in the battle against child pornography. Since 1996, ASACP has investigated thousands of child pornography sites and reported valid ones to the F.B.I. and U.S. Custom Services. The F.B.I. issues subpoenas for the majority of these sites and utilizes ASACP's research expertise for special projects. ASACP provides a vehicle for self-regulation in the adult site industry; it verifies that ASACP Approved Members comply with its Code of Ethics and Best Practices.

	Self Regulation www.selfregulation.info The Programme in Comparative Media Law and Policy at the University of Oxford (PCMLP) at the Centre for Socio-Legal Studies is undertaking a three-year research project under the European Commission's Internet Action Plan. The study, referred to as "Selfregulation.info" aims to conduct research into self-regulatory efforts in various media in Europe and will also assist self-regulatory bodies in developing and implementing their codes of conduct. The site includes a frequently updated list of links to news stories connected with self-regulation

	Quicklinks www.qlinks.net Links to news items about legal and regulatory aspects of Internet and the information society, particularly those relating to information content, and market and technology. The site carries frequent updates, an events page, news items organised by category as well as chronologically by issue and full text search.

	Internet Action Plan http://europa.eu.int The official website of the EU's Internet Action Plan. Includes details of all projects carried out under this initiative, several of which are mentioned below.
